In Japan they say that when a warrior goes further than any human master could ever teach him, it's because he was trained by a tengu. Mountain spirits with long noses and red faces, living high in the forests and only coming down to test anyone who thinks they're invincible.
They punish arrogance. They reward discipline.
And they never teach the same lesson twice.
Legend has it that on Mount Kurama, north of Kyoto, Sōjōbō, the king of the tengu, found a boy named Ushiwakamaru training alone at night. He taught him the sword, strategy and silence. That boy grew up to become Minamoto no Yoshitsune, one of the most famous warriors in Japanese history.
The student became a legend. The master stayed on the mountain. That's why the long nose isn't a joke: it's pride given shape, a reminder that even the greatest once had someone who put them in their place.
It's not a costume. It's high-density resin in matte red, the color of ceremony and mountain festivals. Golden eyes, wave-shaped black brows and a nose that juts forward with a presence no other mask has. In profile, it's the most striking piece in the collection.
Includes a light braided cord to hang or wear it, and a clear stand to display it upright.
The tengu doesn't teach you to win. It teaches you never to think you're invincible.

It's the favorite piece for dojos, gyms and training spaces, because of the legend of the sword master.
Hang it where you train. It makes sure you never get too comfortable.
